Pierre Fabre was targeted by REvil ransomware where the attackers demanded 25 million dollars in ransom. Pierre is on of the leading Pharmaceutical company in France.
On March 31st the company suffered the attack due to which they have to stall the production activity at that time the company did not disclose the Mode of attack. It took 24hrs for Pierre Fabre to brings things under control.

REvil (Sodinokibi) is a private ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) operation. The core malware developers recruit affiliates to compromise corporate networks, steal confidential data, and then encrypt devices.
As per bleeping computers the payment asked by REvil group is $25 million but it seems that Pierre Fabre Group did not pay the Ransom now the amount is doubled to 5o million dollars.
The REvil ransomware shows hidden REvil data leak page for Pierre Fabre, which contains images of allegedly stolen passports, a company contact list, government identification cards, and immigration documents.
REvil Ransomware is the most active attack group since the last few months few of their notable victims are Acer with a $50 million demand and Asteelflash with a $24 million demand.
